About the artist

Lee Lee Walker was born 1955, Teaneck, NJ and lives and works in northern, NJ.

Walker graduated with a BFA from Caldwell College, Caldwell, NJ in 1977. Her career began in the graphic arts – Walker worked intensively in the traditions of lettering, calligraphy, scrolls and book design at studios including Antler & Baldwin, New York, NY and Ames & Rollinson Engrossing Studio, New York, NY. She founded her own graphic studio, Pen & Inc., Bergen County, NJ in 1980.

Walker has shown her drawings and paintings in exhibitions at Platform Project Space, Brooklyn, NY; Eagle Studio, Brooklyn, NY; ABC No Rio, New York, NY; Radiator Gallery, Queens, NY; Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, NJ; and City Without Walls Gallery, Newark, NJ, among others. She maintains a studio in northern NJ where she focuses on drawing, painting and printmaking.
